My name is Alban Dedej. As my story will show, hard work has always been a big part of my life. Early on as a kid, I had a tough childhood financially, but I still managed to live a normal childhood. Though I learned quick that you have to work hard for what you want. At just 11 years old in my home country of Albania, I got my first taste at working at my dad’s grocery store. For another nine years I worked in this same job providing for my family and volunteering to help my community. After this job, I wanted to open my own business. So, with the help of my family I purchased a plot of land and opened my restaurant. This was where I really grew interest in becoming an entrepreneur. I loved the fact that I could watch my business grow and see the progression I made when I first started off. It was tough at the beginning but as I got my hands on the swing of things it became easier. But later on, around the age of 22 I got a job at the city. This really helped get a concept of taxes and other financial works which would help me in the long run.
Ever since then I moved to America where I have opened my own company in Alba Painting LLC. Just like back home we don’t care what type of house or property you have we will still take care of it. Whether it is a 500 square foot home or a 5,000 square foot building. In Alba Painting we have created a team of employees that I see as not just friends as a family. Throughout the years we have only gotten better at our jobs when working together.
